Unisa Registration – Best Way To Register For Unisa
You can always initiate your Unisa registration online! The University of South Africa has trained and is still training many professionals and you can be a part of this great government establishment.
Your Undergraduate higher certificates, diplomas & degrees, advanced certificates, advanced diplomas, BTechs & postgraduate certificates are all achievable via Unisa.
According to Unisa, applicants (new applicants & Unisa students who applied for admission to a new qualification) may only register if they have received an offer of placement from Unisa and have accepted the offer online. Unisa reserves the right to not process and or cancel your registration if it is found that you were incorrectly admitted to a qualification.
Re-registering students must register for the year’s academic session during the relevant registration period.
To be able to apply to the University of South Africa and get a valid feed back from Unisa, the applicant must posses the following:
- A certified copy of the green bar coded ID
- Proof of payment of relevant application fees
- Certified copy of grade 11 results and latest grade 12 results.
South Africans who wish to apply online will need a valid and working email address and an ID number while foreigners wishing to apply will need to provide their passport number.
Applicants must also check individual requirements for each course and students registering for the MBA and MBL degrees must contact the Graduate School of Business Leadership.
Note that first-time registering students may register outside of the approved registration dates and re-registering Unisa students must register during the prescribed Unisa registration period.

Once you have completed and submitted your registration form, you must pay the fees that you calculated.
Remember that all fees must be paid into the correct bank account with the correct reference number in order for the university to process your registration before the relevant closing date.
